@mcc it's quite useful if you want to pivot around a point or set an object's center to a very precise place. other than that, you can ignore it.

The Internet Archive is a real library that uses Controlled Digital Lending to let you borrow a book for an hour. They're getting sued for this and it sucks but put that aside. Here is a book I just borrowed. It told me how to build a catapult in my backyard. I returned it, so you can borrow it next.
@paul quake2 source is a good read. it's a mess, but i learned a lot about engine architecture from it when it was first opensourced
Mastodon admin question
I can't see the total number of favorites or reblogs on posts from other instances unless I look at it on that instance. Is that by design or do I have something misconfigured on my instance?

looking for playtesters
In addition to plotter art I'm a game dev & I'm looking for a few groups to test my upcoming wargame, Skirmish Society.
It's based on Diplomacy but run through Discord. You secretly submit orders to a bot and you scheme with other players over DM. It is as much about statesmanship & swaying public opinion as it is about tactics. Each turn is 24h & the game takes a little over a week.
If you have a Discord server that might enjoy this hit me up & I'll send you some codes!
A thing I have been very much enjoying the past few days is just periodically opening and reading https://brands.town/public
