been replaying MGSV and there is an intangible but very present feeling of the Fox Engine adding a certain aesthetic quality to the game. i wonder if Pro Evolution Soccer, which was the only other game (series) developed using that engine retained some of that feeling

This weekend my partner Jane and I did a 48 hour game just for fun!
I made Devil Daddy Descent, a mostly functional turn based, side scrolling shooter about a stylish demon done in #pico8
It has:

🎯 magic shooting
💣 bombs
🥾 stomping
🗺 procedural levels
📈 some difficulty scaling
