2 days ago I went to the doctorate studies recital of my piano teacher Leonardo Escobar, in which he played an hour of music he's been training months to perform. The last song he performed was Scriabin's "White Mass" Sonata.
I am not very knowledgable in serialism, or atonality in classical music, but it blew my mind and I can't stop thinking about it.
The dynamics, power and softness, dissonance of it all was intensely overwhelming.
