a couple of weeks ago i had a back spasm that was so painful i could barely move and decided to go to the ER to make sure it wasn't anything super bad. they gave me some advil and sent me home. it cost me $1,495.12 out of pocket
i pay $550 a month for health insurance
@ivan damn, sympathy - I had a similar thing a bit back, was stuck in bed for a few days - managed to haul myself to urgent care eventually and got away with better drugs and much less of a bill :/
@ivan Had a similar thing a few years ago including ambulance transport, didn't cost me a dime. But then we're obviously dirty commies in Germany.
